Fashion Week 2015
Ah, yes, the famous fashion week. Although we’ll never be privileged to wear these fantastic creations… it’s always fun to get some inspiration from them… or drool over them.
Erin Fetherston’s collection was inspired by woodland fairies. These two elegant outfits were my favorite because they are very feminine and light.
Marchesa is defiantly a lot different then the other selections. The roaring twenties are brought out in these flapper gowns with the tassels and beadings. I especially love the last one because it reminds me of The Great Gatsby.
Delpozo is very interesting to me. I am very intrigued by the different shapes of the clothing.
Michael Kors coming in clutch with that beautiful peacoat and dashing gold dress.
Oscar De La Renta has always been my favorite designer (I mean have you seen his gowns on the red carpet?). His most famous quote, that I live on, “you can never be overdressed or overeducated.” Anyway, I just simply love how perfect the little details are on his dresses. His creations are never too overwhelming.
Lela Rose continued the flapper trend and added a little bit of a comfy/casual vibe with some casual tops.
I thought Rodarte was the most interesting collection. The pieces seem to be like a fish out of water and I loved every second of it. However, I was a little confused on the face piercings on the eyebrows….
Zuhair Murad is pure elegance. The lace, florals, and pastels make these gowns seem fairylike.
Zac Posen awestruck me. The gown is the absolutely perfect color, perfect silhouette, and perfect amount of poof. If I was going to the Oscars there is no doubt in my mind that I would be wearing that.
So what was your favorite?

Why do you say you’ll never be priviliged to wear them? Anything is possible. Best of luck, SB.
