Hello lovely people! Yes, another post containing my obsession with stripes (seen here and here)… but this time with a little bit of a kick. There has been a trend for a while about mixing patterns together. I used to be so freaked out a bout it. But lately I’ve been digging it. There is a few different tricks when it comes to mixing patterns. Try any of the following:
- Pick a dominating pattern
- Keep fabrics in the same color family
- Pick two different prints that have the same color
- Treat stripes as a neutral
- Tie a print around your waist for a quick flair of contrast
- Use different textures
Here are some pictures of me mixing my favorite two patterns.

Right now this is my favorite dress because it is so versatile. You can literally dress up or down this dress with vans or heels, flannel or blazer, and different types of statement jewelry. If you’ve never shopped on SheInside I would recommend it. One of my favorite bloggers, StyleBreaktown, actually wrote a review of it a while back if you’d like to check it out: Shop Review
Question of the day: What’s your favorite mix and match patterns?
