Are You Tired of These Army Green Pants Yet?

Have you ever stumbled across something and just feel inspired right away? I don’t know what it is, but that’s how I feel about these army green pants. This is where it gets weird, but I swear these pants instantly make me feel creative. I don’t know if it is the fact that they aren’t skin tight or that I just love them, but they always seem to do the trick when I’m in a creative funk.

But why do I love these pants so much? Let’s get into it…

Background Behind These Thrifted Pants

My friend, Sofie, was actually the one that pulled them out of the rack and said that I should try them on. At the time, I was still pretty new at thrifting and it was my first time going thrifting with someone else. When I tried them on, I swear something clicked at that moment.

Something clicked when I tried on that pair of pants. Every misconception I had about thrifting went right out the window.

If You’re New to Thrifting, Here is How You Find that One Item

Last year, I was brand new to the thrifting world. I didn’t know where to begin and I had a totally different idea of everything. I’ll be honest, I thought it was dirty and that I wasn’t going to find anything that would peak my interest. The hardest part of thrifting is that if you aren’t in the right mindset you’re really not going to find things. You need to figure out a way to get rid of those ideas and just drive right on in. The best way you can do that is going with a friend who is either an experienced thrifter or someone who also wants to learn the ways of thrifting. Either way, leave your judgement at the door.

You Can Wear Army Green Pants with Everything

The thing about army green pants is that you can wear them a million and a half ways. I’m still not sure why green pants/jeans aren’t readily available like blue, black, and white (I’m asking you, fashion market). Army green is not only my favorite color, but it is incredibly flattering on any skin color. Unlike orange, red, and barf green, army green is a calming color that makes you ready to go explore the world. Plus, it’s not super light so it slims you down – uhmmm I’ll take 5 please.

This Might Be My Favorite Way I’ve Worn These Pants

If you can keep a secret, I’ll proudly tell you that this outfit is actually my favorite way I’ve worn these pants. Something about the giant pockets and the one shouldered top meshes so well, or at least I think so. When I wear army green I normally go for neutral colors because, personally, I gravitate towards that more. However, I’ve been trying to figure out how incorporate mustard yellow with army green so stay tuned for that!

Such cute pants, I really love that one shoulder top! I am also a huge thrifter, most of the things I own are from a thrift shop and I manage a consignment store which is basically bougie thrifting lol. I love the idea of finding something that I know I won’t be seeing everywhere, and giving old things a new home, thrifting really changes how you shop forever, keep it up!

I can see why you love those pants: they look so good! Army green is one of the best colors and I love how the off the shoulder top looks with the pants. And finding that one item that always makes you feel good when you wear it is the best!
