It seems like Connecticut is sad to see me go because it has been raining nonstop ever since I announced I was leaving. Okay, obviously that is a little bit far fetched but it has been raining nonstop! Luckily, that means I get to sport my Roma boots loud and proudly.
Giving Poverty the Boot
For each pair of rain boots sold, Roma donates a pair of boots to a child living in poverty. Often times children have to walk to and from school in order to get an education. When the children are faced with financial strains, not having proper shoes can really cause problems in their educational development. Companies like Roma offer opportunities where children can not only get proper footwear but an opportunity to improve their daily lives. Roma does an incredible job by trying to break the cycle.
What are They Made of?
Each pair of boots are made out of natural rubber and knitted cotton lining. Sometimes when you get a pair of new rainboots they have that nasty, plastic smell that emanates into the entire room. Thankfully, you don’t have to worry about that with Roma boots. They smell rad and they’re super comfy.
Sizing – Good to Go
I am almost always a 7.5 for 9/10 shoes I get. Since Roma boots are only available in whole sizes, they recommend sizing down. Size 7 worked perfectly for me and do not feel tight on my toes at all. What I really like about the
Would I Buy Another Pair?
Absolutely, I really like the height of the Chelsea boot and have been loving the matte black and purple ones. I definitely don’t need another pair at the moment, but they would definitely be a fun thing to add to my wardrobe. I would buy another pair of these before I buy another pair of Hunters.
